Mabey Wright & James offers legal services in the areas of water law, commercial litigation, general business and employment law.  The firm is recognized in Best Law Firms for water law by U.S. News and World Report.

William N. White began his private water law practice in 1999. In July of 2000, John H. Mabey, Jr., a former colleague at the Utah Attorney General’s Office, joined Bill to form White & Mabey, focusing their law practice on Utah water law. David C. Wright joined them in February of 2001, allowing the practice to expand to include commercial and water litigation. Bill White retired from the practice of law but remains active in water development. P. Corper James joined the firm in 2007  expanding its services to include employment and business law.

Today, Mabey Wright & James continues its strong water law and litigation practice and offers expanded legal services for its clients’ business and employment law needs. The firm’s practice and diverse client base spans across the state of Utah.
